Future-proof your fleet: Stay compliant and efficient with TeamTec
Energy efficiency
The maritime industry is evolving rapidly, with stricter regulations reshaping how vessels operate. One of the latest regulations is the implementation of the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) Phase 3, effective from January 1, 2025. This regulation tightens energy efficiency requirements for new vessels over 400 gross tons, pushing shipowners and shipyards to adopt smarter, more sustainable technologies.
Navigating compliance with TeamTec
Keeping up with these regulations doesn’t have to be a challenge. TeamTec delivers high-performance solutions designed to simplify compliance while boosting operational efficiency.
Ballast Water Management System (BWMS):
The Senza BWMS utilizes direct biocide injection, eliminating the need for filters and preventing clogging or operational delays. This system ensures compliant ballast water treatment with minimal power consumption, reducing operational costs and maintaining 100% flow in any water condition.
Unlike electrochlorination systems that generate disinfectant onboard (which requires significant power), Senza BWMS uses externally supplied sodium hypochlorite, eliminating the need for energy-intensive and complex electrolysis. UV-based and filtration systems require continuous power for lamps and pumps, whereas Senza BWMS avoids these energy-heavy components. Since the system does not rely on high-pressure filtration or intensive pumping, it reduces strain on ballast pumps and lowers vessel fuel consumption. The system only requires energy for temperature-controlled storing of the biocide, dosing and monitoring, making it one of the most power-efficient BWMS solutions available.
Its compact, configurable design requires minimal training for the crew, which ensures proper operation.
Our Incinerators
TeamTec's incinerators are engineered for efficient onboard waste management, capable of burning sludge oil with up to 50% water content without the need for support fuel. This high-temperature cyclone burning principle ensures compliance with IMO regulations, offering an economical and environmentally friendly solution for waste disposal.
